Pyg is a Python package manager that is meant to be an alternative to easy_install and pip.
Pyg can install packages from archives (.tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .zip, .tgz), as well as from eggs and pip bundles.
Pyg can uninstall almost all packages, even those installed with pure-distutils install (python setup.py install)
