Description
Brian2GeNN is a python package that provides an interface between the Brian 2 simulator and the GeNN (GPU enhanced Neuronal Networks) framework. It allows Brian 2 users to run their scripts on a GeNN backend, and hence, via NVIDIA CUDA on NVIDIA GOU hardware. Depending on the script run this can give considerable speedups over executing in Python and even over executing in other standalone devices such as 'cpp_standalone'.
