Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)¶

1.Compared to traditional trading platforms or other OTC platforms, what are the difference and the advantage of Bitpie?¶

Biepit is based on Hierarchical Deterministic Wallet and Multi-Signature technology and user can buy or sell digital currency upon the Blockchain,which mean that the private key of digital currency could be controlled by user’s own rather than by ‘platform’ or others’ party. At the same time, the Bitpie won’t keep the user’s Fait (RMB), so there is no ‘Fait Top Up and Withdrawal’ business. Once the user’s transaction completes, the creditor’s rights and liabilities of Fait will be settled and ‘Prohibit withdrawal’ issue won’t happen. All in all, Bitpie must attaches more importance to the user’s asset security than other similar platforms.

2.Is it safe for the money in my Bitpie account and in bank account?¶

Yes, it is. Based on the HD wallet technology, Bitpie can not access to the user’s digital assets, so it is impossible to occur the phenomenon –’Pause to withdraw’ or ‘Run away with money’ on others’ trading platforms.

3.When I trade on Bitpie, how does Bitpie protect my privacy data?¶

In strict accordance with national laws and regulations to protect user’s privacy, Bitpie has applied the self-developed, advanced security and encryption technology. In view of the most stringent internal controlling system, it can exactly prevent external attackers from obtaining user privacy information for protecting transactions.

4.Whether my assets are safe or not if Bitpie company has a operational problem?¶

Yes, it is safe. This is a significant technology that distinguishes from others’ platforms: we completely separate our own business operations from user’s asset controlling system, and the user takes the private key of digital currency through HD wallet. Therefore, even if there is a severe operational problem, Bitpie still can’t access to the user’s money.

5.Does the transaction have the minimum limits? How much money do I have at least to start trading?¶

The minimum limits of ‘Instant Trade’ are 0.1BTC. The buyer and seller on OTC Escrow transaction can define the limits.

6.How could I participate in digital currency transaction?¶

Bitpie provides IOS and Android versions.

7.What is the relationship between ‘bitpie’ and ‘bither’?¶

Bither and Bitpie both belong to the same technical team, however Bither is the team’s early products and Bitpie is subsequently operated product. The main similarity between the two products: they all provide HD wallet management program; the main difference: Bither is a singular App product with relatively perfect functions, however Bitpie is an integrated App to provide HD wallet and digital currency trading function.

8.What is the ‘Seed Phrase’?¶

Seed Phrase, showing as ‘12 words’ on Biepie, is an important concept of HD wallet technology. Because it is extremely significant, user should properly keep and backup it. In all kinds of situations, through it, user can restore HD wallet, as well as all addresses and private keys of the digital currency to ensure the safety of digital assets.

9.Could I transfer my Bitcoin on Bitpie to other platforms? Could I take over Bitcoin transferred from other platforms?¶

Yes, you could. Because the transmit-to-receive network is based on Online Blockchain, Bitcoin on Bitpie can be forwarded with other addresses.

10.When would Bitcoin generally be credited into account on Instant Trade and OTC after buying and selling Bitcoin?¶

In the absence of non-compliance or accident conditions, only if buyer confirms to transfer money successfully and the counterparty also receives transferred money, buyer will receive Bitcoin.

11.What should user do if it has taken a long time not to confirm the transferred Bitcoin?¶

Digital currency transaction on Block chain will maybe encounter with network congestion. With the improvement of technology, this situation can be gradually solved. However, if user is eager to confirm the transaction as soon as possible, you can buy ‘TX Accelerator’ to speed up for a particular transaction.

12.What should user do if the counterparty on OTC intentionally delays or not reply?¶

If the multiple-communication is invalid, user can contact the manager of Bitpie to investigate. If it is malicious, there would be a warning or punishment.

15.How to protect against potential risks on OTC transaction?¶

First, we recommend that user chooses ‘ Escrow transaction Platform’ of OTC, on which any private transactions have no connection with platform. What’s more, in the case of OTC Escrow transaction, user should follow the ‘confirmed consistency’ principle. That is to say: it should be confirmed that the obligations of both sides have been fulfilled before paying money or issuing Bitcoin

16.When would OTC transaction need ‘Arbitration’?¶

When the two parties of ‘OTC Escrow transaction’ has encountered with disputes, and has not be able to coordinate, you can apply for arbitration.

17.What should user do if user doesn’t have a back-up of Seed Phrase?¶

If user loses Seed Phrase, Bitpie also could not help recover it. It is extremely important. Hence, we remind it again: Each user must keeps Seed Phrase in earnest.

18.How to solve it if user forgets Pin Code?¶

If confirms that has saved Seed Phrase well, user can re-install Bitpie App on another phone (or uninstall Bitpie App ) and then restore the wallet. After recovery, you can reset Pin Code.

19.What if user loses own phone, are there some solutions to provide?¶

If user confirms that has saved Seed Phrase well, the user’s assets must be safe. However, we still recommend user to take security precautions: Recovering Bitpie by Seed Phrase of new phone, and then transferring Bitcoin of original wallet into another (new) wallet.

20.Why does my transferred money be returned to Alipay / Online Banking /We Chat? Binding failed?¶

Please check whether the account information (such as name, phone number, account number, etc.) is consistent with other certification information.

21.Why does user pay OTC deposit? Which circumstances would the deposit be deducted?¶

OTC deposit is divided into ‘Ordering deposit’ and ‘Advertising deposit’. Ordering deposit is an essential precondition for OTC transactions and Advertising deposit is for advertising party. Hence, only if paid order deposit, user could make OTC transaction. Similarly, only if paid advertising deposit, it is allowed to put advertisement. When each party on OTC transaction violates the term of User Agreement or National Laws and Regulations, Bitpie would warn or deduct deposit of related party.

22.What is the difference between Instant Trade and OTC transaction? Why are there different prices?¶

Instant Trade provides the ‘quick-dealing ‘ service which helps user save time for selling and buying digital currency. The OTC transaction is a ‘ Advertisement and Promotion’ model in the system of ‘ Escrow -Multiple-signature-Arbitration’, which offers users with a greater variety of personality services.

23.Why are there different prices on different platforms?¶

Followed the voluntary principle of market, it is like ‘the fish on Beijing Carrefour supermarket’ and ‘the fish on Shanghai Wal-Mart supermarket’, although all are fish, but the price will not be the same.

24.Could I unload Bitpie?¶

If there is no special circumstance, you can carefully unload it to avoid losses. After keeping Seed Phrase well, user can unload Bitpie.

25.How to use Seed Phrase to restore the wallet?¶

After re-installing Bitpie, you open Bitpie firstly, and then click a button on the upper right corner, select the recovery, and finally enter into ‘12 words’ Seed Phrase

26.Are my Bitcoin, the original address and trading history still in wallet after the wallet is restored?¶

Yes, they are

27.What should I do if I change my phone number / Alipay / Bank Information?¶

The replacement of Bitpie information should be done before the change.

28.Could a phone be uploaded a few Bitpie?¶

Only one.

29.Could I register multiple Bitpie accounts for my different bank / Alipay / phone accounts?¶

Yes, you could. But the registered information in each account should be consistent.

30.How to update the latest version of Bitpie?¶

31.When I plan to buy one TX Accelerator, why are showed many TX Accelerators? What does it mean that a certain transaction ID has dependent on other multiple-transactions?¶

A transaction is only corresponding to one tx_hash ID, but if it has inter-dependence with previous transactions that have been not confirmed, the current ID transaction that you applied to accelerate won’t pass the former to confirm. Therefore, the system will prompt you to speed up the number of previous transactions.

32.Which kind of criteria is for counting the ‘Dynamic Miners’ Fee ?¶

Dynamic Miners’ Fee is not a fixed proportion or a fixed amount, but is based on Network state. Due to unconfirmed transaction, there are ‘The Distribution of Service Fee’ and ‘The Amount of Bitcoin on United Byte’. The so-called Dynamic Adjustment can make a best choice according to these information.

33.What’s the meaning of ‘VIP user’ on OTC transaction?¶

Unlike the ordinary transaction, ‘VIP user’ refers to the personalized service provided by Bitpie to a specific user. OTC’s VIP module is designed for large clients, bulk deals, and fast trading to make Escrow transaction. For example, if you would like to complete a relatively larger and more secured trade(compared to the ordinary transaction) under a defined price, a lower cost, faster dealing speed and a limited time, you can choose to join in.

34.If I would like to know the usage of Bither wallet (bither.net), how could I look up this related information?¶

软件功能简述¶

比特派是一款综合化的区块链资产服务产品，主要功能包括：钱包服务、收发、买卖、加速交易……等。在主界面右下角加号菜单中，有发送、接收、一键买卖和OTC交易。此外，在左边菜单还有我的订单、广告、地址、身份认证、设置、切换币种等。比特派基于HD钱包，用户掌控私钥，交易完成后的币，直接归用户自己保管；比特派上交易的都是“真币”，对“假币”说不！对“部分准备制”说不！比特派提供更多更安全的选择，为您减少资金划转困难的痛苦；比特派提供基于多重签名的托管（OTC）交易服务和个性化的VIP大客户服务；比特派提供快速下单的一键买卖交易服务和全面周到的客户反馈服务。

种子管理¶

概述¶

为了更好的保护比特派用户的财产安全，增强用户体验。比特派提供验证种子功能（比特派种子密语验证，比特派二维码），显示种子密码功能，查看种子。

比特派种子密语¶

比特派采用HD钱包技术，12个汉字（单词）密语相当于你的私钥，要妥善保管好，不要泄露给他人。

比特派种子密语验证¶

帮助用户再次确认种子密语是否正确，避免种子密语记错。

显示种子密语功能¶

此功能是为了帮助比特派用户第一次进入软件，没有抄写种子密语而设置。只能显示一次种子密语，帮助比特派用户强化记忆。

查看种子¶

通过ID告知比特派技术支持索取种子码。通过此功能，用户可以通过种子码生成种子二维码。可用于账户恢复。

保存种子¶

1.首次打开比特派后，你将会看到如下界面

3.请按顺序抄下这些单词，如果条件允许，可以点左上方开启打印模式，打印（复印）一份你的种子。或者也可以认真抄写你的种子。点击”我已抄好“按钮，在新页面通过选择输入抄写的汉字（单词）.为了验证你是否抄写正确，进入比特派后，可以到设置——验证种子，输入备份的汉字，检验是否抄写正确。

大家在使用时，要认真阅读比特派的操作提示，尤其是像注册时候要备份种子（12个单词或汉字），不要出现卸载比特派或者恢复出厂设置等高危行为。

点击“我已抄好”按钮，进入下一步。

恢复种子¶

1.通过抄写的种子进行恢复。

恢复种子就是恢复你之前已注册的比特派钱包和账户，需要使用之前备份好的种子（12个单词或汉字）。从左到右，从上到下，一个一个输入哦，如果输入某个字错误，点击那个字可删除或替换。

在注册或者恢复完成之后，接下来你会看到让你设置（重置）pin密码的界面，像你手机的密码一样，让钱包更加安全。要牢记并且设置好pin密码，因为你在使用比特派的时候会经常用到的。每次重新恢复钱包后，可以重置一次新的pin密码。

2.通过二维码进行恢复种子。

版本升级¶

在设置里可以看到当前比特派的版本号，如果不是最新版的话，就点击检测新版本，然后会提示你更新的，下载安装覆盖就可以了。一定要经常关注比特派官方网站和比特派官方群，如果有更新或者维护的通知，会提前有公告的。

身份认证¶

进行身份认证可以提高你的KYC等级。KYC等级越高，你的一键买币的额度也就越大。

身份认证不需要按照顺序认证，如果你要是完成大额交易的话，可以直接认证最高等级。

认证细节¶

KYC1需要填写本人真实姓名和身份证号码，支付宝账号最好是通过手机号注册并通过支付宝实名认证（支付宝账号非手机号，请将支付宝账号与手机号进行绑定，并通过手机客户端隐私中打开通过手机号找到我），否则无法通过KYC2.
KYC2的审核如果显示不通过或者在审核中，你可以直接认证KYC5。
KYC3主要是认证你的银行卡是否是本人的，需要你登录的手机号和银行卡预留信息（手机号）一致，否则无法通过。
KYC4：KYC2,KYC3都通过。
KYC5等级最高。需要提供身份证正反面照片，手持身份证照片和一段视频。
认证身份证正反面照片要求拍清晰，拍全。手持身份证照片要求能看清身份证号码。
认证视频要求：你需要拿身份证读到（我是***，我在比特派上一键买卖比特币，我承诺资金来源合法，不会用于非法用途，并且对自己的行为负责）

认证不通过原因¶

照片不正确，可能原因是身份证正反面照片拍摄不全，上传上去的照片只显示一半。或者没按照要求拍摄。
照片不清晰，可能原因是身份证正反面照片拍摄不清晰，手持身份证照片尽量要让身份证证件号码足够清晰，否则无法通过。
视频不正确，可能原因,读错内容或者没拿身份证拍摄，尤其是点击开始录制后，再开始读，往往有用户没录上到第一句话，此外，第二句话，我在比特派上不要读到我在比特币上，这句话特别容易读错。

买币最小限额是0.1BTC，填写好购买的币数后，可以在最下方看到要付款的金额。
默认支付方式是支付宝，如果需要大额买币的话，建议使用银行卡付款。

付款¶

下单后，付款有效时间为十分钟。
付款账户必须是本人账户，支付宝需要实名认证，银行卡开户者必须是本人，否则无法完成交易。
付款时请备注好订单号，点击下订单号后面的数组就复制了，直接粘贴过去就可以了。
备注时候，只要备注订单，其他的文字信息如比特币等不要填写。
付款完成后点击已付款按钮。

收币¶

交易员确认收到款后，会立刻给您放币的，在首页可以看到收币的记录。

一键卖币¶

下单¶

卖币最小限额是0.1BTC，填写好购买的币数后，可以在最下方看到收款金额。

填写收款信息¶

目前支持支付宝和银行卡收款。
收款账户只能是本人的账户，并且确认无误，便于交易员给你付款。
由于需要币确认后才能给你付款，这个过程可能需要几分钟，耐心等下。

发送及接收¶

发送¶

比特派支持多目的地址发币，像发送交易频繁的用户，使用起来更方便。目的地址你可以通过复制粘贴上去，从地址簿添加上去，或者使用相机扫描目的地址二维码多种方式填写。输入对金额和目的地址后，确认没问题，点击确认。

为了保证你的资金安全，会再次让你核实下，发送交易是否有问题，你可以看到你要发送的这笔交易的目的地址，发送的金额，矿工费。这里详细解释下矿工费：矿工费是你发送这笔交易，是需要矿工把你的这个交易做到区块儿链中，矿工会收取一定的费用，比特派的发送和接收两个功能是不收任何手续费的。此外，由于区块儿有时会出现拥堵等情况，比特派专门设置了动态矿工费，这个动态矿工费是根据你发送的这笔交易的大小计算出来的最合适的矿工费费用。所以，我建议大家使用动态矿工费，防止交易长时间不确认等特殊情况。经常有用户反映，我钱包里有0.1个币啊，为什么我发送0.1个币却发送提示余额不够呢？应该考虑矿工费的，矿工费是从你余额里扣的，所以，尽量留足够的矿工费。

接收¶

右下角加号—接收，显示我的地址界面，这就是你的钱包地址。如果要是接收比特币，就发送到你的账户上的地址就可以了。请求新地址每次可以请求十个地址，同时，旧地址也可以使用的。在左边菜单，我的地址里可以查到。此外，你还可以把你的旧地址长按，添加到地址簿，并且做好备注，方便下次使用。

VIP OTC¶

概述¶

VIP OTC交易可以帮助用户快速进行交易。VIP广告优先于普通OTC交易。

VIP OTC 功能¶

VIP盘口广告在普通OTC广告列表中置顶显示。
VIP广告可在普通OTC广告中优先显示。
普通OTC广告用户可以购买和出售给VIP用户。
VIP广告金色边缘显示，突出明显易识别。
VIP广告可编辑、上架广告、下架广告、可挂长期广告。

准备工作¶

默认用户名是noname- 开头的，这样很难便于区分，所以，到个人资料里设置下自己的用户名和头像。
广告功能需要KYC5，提前做好身份认证。
充值VIP押金（左边菜单－设置－我的押金－OTC－VIP押金）。

创建广告¶

右下角加号－OTC交易－OTC交易界面右上角VIP-选择”＋”号。
选择类型：出售，购买。出售就是你卖币给别人，购买就是别人卖币给你；币种：目前只支持人民币；总币数量：出售币数或者购买币数（总币数量不能大于比特派钱包余额）；单价：需设置，根据自己的实际情况设置；最小买币币数：根据实际需求设置；限时：最大时间为100天；广告信息：根据自己需求填写。
保存广告即可发布广告。

编辑广告¶

在VIP盘口广告区选择自己的广告，可对自己的广告进行编辑。

下架广告¶

方法一：在VIP盘口广告区选择自己的广告，可对自己的广告进行下架。方法二：选择我的VIP广告，可下架广告。

重新上架广告¶

选择我的VIP广告，可和重新上架广告。

下单方¶

准备工作¶

如果下单方来自普通OTC，订单方需（至少）认证KYC2，并需交OTC 订单押金。
如果下单方来自VIP，订单方需认证KYC5，并需交OTC VIP押金。

OTC交易¶

概述¶

OTC交易也可以叫做P2P交易或者托管交易。简单可理解为个人对个人的比特币交易。

广告方¶

准备工作¶

默认用户名是noname- 开头的，这样很难便于区分，所以，到个人资料里设置下自己的用户名和头像。
广告功能需要KYC5，提前做好身份认证。
充值广告押金。
说明：VIP用户的OTC托管交易押金要求，不同于普通OTC托管交易押金。

创建广告¶

左边菜单—我的广告—创建广告
广告类型设置成在线，目前不支持现金交易。可以选择购买或出售。广告设置中的——购买就是别人卖币给你，出售就是你卖币给别人。
限额就是别人来你这里购买或者出售的最小最大额度。
你需要设置一个价格，可以设置浮动价格或者固定价格。
浮动价格：根据选择交易所价格，设置溢价，价格是变动的。固定价格：就是你手动设置一个固定的价格（可修改）。
支付方式可以选择支付宝，微信和银行卡。
广告信息处填写你的一些联系方式，或者给自己打个广告。吸引更多的人和你交易。
默认是和KYC2以上的用户进行加交易，这可以有效的保护广告方的资金安全。
可以选择和是否交押金的用户进行交易。
广告信息填写完毕后，设置为激活，点最下方按钮创建广告，广告创建完毕。
左边菜单——广告离线开关（我的广告－广告离线开关），设置在线后其他用户就可以看到你的广告了。
说明：VIP用户的OTC托管交易广告操作，不同于普通用户。

下单方¶

准备工作¶

为了有效的保护广告方的资金安全，订单方需要至少KYC2。
缴纳订单押金后，可以和所有广告方进行交易。如果没有缴纳押金，只能和不带（押）字的广告方交易。

下订单¶

我们举个例子，下单方如何通过OTC交易从广告方这里买币的

下单方到OTC订单列表里，找到和合适的卖家下单方，感觉价格靠谱点击聊天按钮，和卖家进行沟通。比如，是否有币，是否可以在线完成交易。没问题的话，买家就可以点击购买下单了，确定购买金额，付款方式都没问题，点购买下单。
下单成功后卖家看到的是等待接收。（等卖家决定是否接收订单）如果卖家长时间不回复的话，可以取消此订单，找其他人下单。卖家此时可以接收或者拒绝订单。
卖家接收订单后，双方看到的是等待交易确认，（因为OTC交易是链上的比特币交易，这里的等待交易确认的意思是，卖家将币发送到托管状态，这个过程是需要网络确认的，就是等矿工把这笔交易做到区块儿里，就会有确认了），这个时间不确定，可能几分钟，也可能会时间稍微长些。买家卖家需要耐心等等。
交易确认后，表示币已经被托管成功了，现在，卖家可以提供收款信息，大额的话建议使用银行卡收款。（像建设银行之类的转账或者叫接收比较慢的尽量不要使用哈，本人推荐招商银行，转账确认很快的。），买家按照卖家提供的付款方式，核对无误后可以给卖家付款，在留言或者备注中，填写下订单号，这样方便买卖双方进行交易。买家付款后，点击已付款。买家剩下的就是等待对方放币了。
卖家在收到款后，并且核对无误后，点击释放托管中的比特币，把币释放给买家。
此订单完成。

注意事项¶

进行OTC交易，必须等币成功被托管了，双方才能进行法币的操作。就是“交易已经确认”这个状态之后，买家再付款。
广告方尽量需要下单方缴纳押金才可以下单，这样可以提高你的订单成功率。
不管是下单方还是广告方，都要保证订单创建后，尽可能的在线哈，建议不要把手机调成静音，当交易确认了，比特派是会有通知消息的，并隔断时间看下自己的订单是否已确认。
不管和对方交易多少次，一定要在OTC上进行托管交易，不能因为熟悉了就私下交易，特此声明：如果因此出现任何损失，比特派概不承担责任。
如果托管交易发生纠纷，可以申请仲裁。脱离比特派托管平台的私下交易，比特派有权不做任何回复。

如果托管交易出现纠纷比如买家没付款，买卖双方有一方长时间不回复，付款后卖家没放币，或者其他原因，都可以申请仲裁的。申请仲裁后，仲裁相关人员会尽快通过小秘书的形式来通知买卖双方如何操作。申请仲裁后，双方也是可以继续交易的，可能是因为一些小小的误会或者误操作，一方发起了仲裁。如果双方还想继续交易的话，另一方也申请仲裁，买家正常付款给卖家，卖家确认收到款后，点同意放币，释放币给买家。即使申请仲裁了，也可以继续交易的。
