keyup | Automate AWS Access Key Rotation keyup provides a safe, error-free mechanism to change access keys to Amazon Web Services as frequently as you wish, while spending little effort. keyup needs the profile name of your IAM user in your local awscli config. Nothing more: $ keyup --profile dave --operation up Change your access keys once a week or once an hour. Enter the above command in your crontab and add the --auto switch.
