iBitcome is a decentralized wallet developed with the blockchain as the underlying technology. It provides services such as decentralized exchanges, cross-chain transactions, and rich DApp applications in the mobile terminal on the premise of ensuring the security of digital assets of users. Download and Install¶

1.Download iBitcome on the official website https://www.ibitcome.com

2.Log in to the official download website https://download.ibitcome.com, then click or scan QR code to download

3.Other ways for installing

For Android: Search” iBitcome” on Google Play (Don't use a rooted phone and deep cleanup to delete phone files as it maybe delete important files in the Android phone.)

For IOS: Search” iBitcome” in Appstore (Don't open iCloud at will, because some important information will most likely be synced to iCloud or recorded in a memo, such as mnemonic screen capture)

Backup mnemonic / Keystore¶

Why must I back up?¶

The private key (Keystore) is the "unique" proof of the ownership and use of digital assets. Anyone can control all the assets in the wallet after they have obtained it. So please be attach importance to the following points after creating the wallet,

Back up now! Unbacked assets are not secure, and assets can never be recovered if the phone is lost, the wallet is deleted, or the password is forgotten.
Use physical medium backup as much as possible, for example, copy it on paper, avoid screen capture or photo storage in networked devices, and prevent hackers from stealing.
Keep the backed up private key (mnemonic/Keystore) in a safe place and take anti-theft and anti-lost measures.

Mnemonic phrase and keystore is a different form of private key to help users remember complex private keys according to a certain algorithm

You can reset the password by re-importing the backup information once forgetting the password

How to back up mnemonics?¶

Click “Backup Now” on the “Asset” main page after creating the wallet,

Copy the mnemonic phrase with the physical medium after authorization

Verify the mnemonic phrasei

Now, the backup of the mnemonic is completed, please keep it safe and take anti-theft and anti-lost measures.

Setting password¶

When you first create/import an iBitcome wallet, you need to set a password with a certain level of complexity to protect the security of assets, transactions, and privacy. For the sake of security, the password should be a combination of upper/lowercase letters and numbers containing at least 8 characters.

Change password¶

Click “Settings” on the “Mine” page

Click “Setting” and “Change password”

What if I forget my security password?¶

iBitcome, as a decentralized application based on blockchain, does not store your security password. So please keep it safe as it cannot be retrieved once forgetting. If this occurs， you can only reset the password in the following ways.
