Description

Julia Devito is a framework for large-scale seismic modeling and inversion in Julia with emphasis on user friendliness and mathematical abstractions. Julia Devito is designed for researchers who want to translate mathematical concepts and algorithms into fast and efficient code that scales to industry-size 3D problems. The main focus of the package lies on modeling seismic data as well as full-waveform inversion and imaging. Wave equations in Julia Devito are solved using Devito, a Python DSL for symbolically setting up PDEs and automatic code generation.
