Static Block

Overview

• A static block is a piece of HTML which can be reused from several content objects like the shop, a category or a product.

Add a static block

To add a static block proceed as following:

1. Go to Management / HTML / Static blocks.
2. Click on Add Static Block. Please note: if there are no Static blocks yet at all you will redirected automatically to the add form.
3. Fill in the form and click on Save static block

Remove a static block

To remove a static block proceed as following:

1. Browse to the the static block you want to delete.
2. Click on the Delete button and answer the confirmation question with yes.

Data fields

Name

The name of the static block. The name is used to select a certain static block.

HTML

The HTML of the static block. This can be any valid HTML code.
